- What platform is used for the remote consultation?
- Your consultation will be conducted via Zoom.
- How long does the blood draw take?
- The process generally takes 15 to 20 minutes.
- Will a urine sample be collected?
- Yes, a urine sample will be collected as part of your blood draw.
- Do I need to fast before the blood draw?
- Yes, a 10 to 12-hour fast is required.
- When will I receive my lab results?
- Laboratory results are typically available within 3 business weeks.
- Will I receive a copy of my lab results?
- Yes, you will receive a copy of your laboratory results prior to your physician consultation.
- Can the ReCenter Medical physician prescribe supplements?
- Yes. Your physician will recommend supplements tailored to your clinical needs.
- Can the ReCenter Medical physician prescribe medications?
- Should you choose to begin a performance health on-going program, your physician will prescribe any appropriate medications tailored to your clinical needs.
- How do these labs differ from my PCP labs?
- In comparison to basic PCP, our lab test is more comprehensive with a focus on prevention and optimized levels. We have much more biomarkers (more extensive results). Our Lipid panel provides much more value. Full iron panel, a more extensive cholesterol panel, inflammation panel, and a hormone panel (which is rarely included in PCP results). We also provide deficiency panels. Ultimately, Explore also has the PhenoAge which provides an interpretation of one’s biological age.
